The 20th century is still young when Italian mountain dwellers conquer Germany with a taste sensation: gelato. Mobile stalls turn into neat ice cream parlors, sunny childhood days turn into dark war years. And Rosa and Paolo’s seventh summer of ice cream love – comes to nothing. Until, three quarters of a lifetime later, little Molly takes matters into her own hands.
